Nate Long is a dedicated law enforcement professional with 8 years of law enforcement experience. Currently serving as an officer for the City of Grand Junction, Nate has served as their Co-Responder Officer for the last 3 years, working with clinician partners to address behavioral health concerns in his community. Nate also holds the roles of Field Training Officer, Drone Operator, Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Instructor, and is certified in CNT (Crisis Negotiations Team). Nate is passionate about officer development and focuses on teaching active listening, de-escalation, and relationship building skills to improve crisis response and foster stronger connections with the community he serves.
